Recently, several projects undertaken by subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) reached important milestones, with new achievements continuously made in shipbuilding, supporting equipment development, and other fields.

On June 9, the 115,000-dwt product oil tanker NISYROS, built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co., Ltd. for Greece’s Dynacom, was officially signed and delivered.

The vessel is capable of carrying various types of liquid cargo, including product oil and crude oil. Its propulsion system has been optimized in strict accordance with international maritime environmental protection regulations, taking into account both operational efficiency and green development requirements, and aligning with the global trend toward low-carbon shipping.

On June 10, the first 48,000-cubic-meter liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier built by Huangpu Wenchong for Greece’s Benelux began its sea trial.

The project team closely focused on the sea trial target and made precise efforts around core tasks. Following the principles of “lean management and safety first,” the team steadily overcame key phased construction challenges, accelerated quality and efficiency improvements in project construction, and laid a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the sea trial milestone.

Recently, a 30-megawatt ultra-high line-speed speed-increasing gearbox independently designed and developed by Chongqing Gearbox & Machinery Co., Ltd. was officially shipped and delivered to the customer.

Through technological innovation, the R&D team achieved an engineering breakthrough in key technologies for high-speed gear transmission, completing the full transition from technical research to engineering application in the segmented field of multi-branch high-speed gearboxes.
