Report to MITT on "Numerical Tank Innovation Project" 2016 Progress

     The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) held its seminar on December 15th, 2016. Yang Shuanchang, deputy director of Equipment Industry Division and Wang Rong, deputy director of Shipping Department from MIIT attended the meeting. 
     Professor Xia Guihua, chief commander of ¡°Numerical Tank Innovation Project¡± made a report on the 2016 research progress and administrative situation of ¡°Numerical Tank Innovation Project (Phase I)¡±. 
     Mr. Yang Shuanchang greatly approved of the research progress of the ¡°Numerical Tank Innovation Project¡±. He pointed out that the administration of the project worked tightly with its technology, and the team made the best use of Internet to assist the work on administration, promotion and service, which is very good. Yang added that the Numerical Tank Innovation Project¡¯s team always stand at the very forefront (tide-head), showing no fears in making each new try. This has indeed set a good example for others.
     It was also settled during the meeting that Numerical Tank Innovation Project¡¯s team would make a report on the kick-off meeting of MIIT High-Tech Marine Scientific Research Projects on December 22nd, 2016. The report would mainly focus on exchanging ideas and experience in carrying out administration and research work for the project so that other teams could learn from this sharing.Zhou Weixin, deputy chief commander of the project, Prof. Duan Wenyang, the chief architect of the project, managing director Chen Ruolei, deputy managing directors Wu Chengsheng, Zhaobinbin and Chen Xiaoping accompanied (on the report.)
