Pettersen, the General Manager of Technology Center of China Branch of DNV Visited Harbin Engineering University for Research

On June 25, Pettersen, the general manager of Technology Center of China Branch of DNV came to Harbin Engineering University for research. XIA Guihua, deputy leader of the Communist Party Committee of Harbin Engineering University met the visitors.

XIA Guihua welcomed Pettersen and his delegation, and briefly introduced the historical evolution, running characteristics, personnel training and scientific research of Harbin Engineering University. He said that the two sides have great cooperation potential in the fields of digital ship sea technology and green ship technology, and hope to conduct detailed technical exchanges, scientific research, student practice and other related cooperation.

Pettersen gave a brief introduction of the basic situation, research and development achievements and future development plan of DNV. He hopes to strengthen cooperation with Harbin Engineering University in green ships, intelligent ships, renewable energy and other technical fields. Relying on the layout of the two sides in Qingdao, DNV will establish Qingdao Intelligent Center and conduct further cooperation with the university in scientific research and talent training.

Pettersen and his delegation visited PLA Military Engineering Institute Memorial Hall, ChuangLiFang the University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship center, the Key Laboratory of China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Advanced Ship Power Technology and the Key Laboratory of China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Ship Intelligent System and Technology.
