East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform is an iconic project designed to implement the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping. Supported and initiated by Premier Li Keqiang, it is an innovative approach to promote openness and cooperation between ASEAN countries andChina,Japan, andSouth Korea, known as the 10+3. Taking Qingdao of Shandong Province as the core, the platform sets up its headquarters in Qingdao West Coast New Area. It is committed to deepen marine cooperation between ASEAN countries andChina,Japan, andSouth Korea(10+3), so as to strengthen connectivity and economic integration in the region and realize peaceful development, mutually beneficial cooperation, and common prosperity for various countries. 


To promote the construction of the platform, the 2017 East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum under the theme of East Asian Connectivity for Win-win Cooperation will be held on September 6-8, 2017 in the Qingdao West Coast New Area. Famous economists, business leaders, artists and scientists will gather at the forum to share ideas and visions for future cooperation and development.
