HEU succeeds in 14th National Multimedia Courseware Competition

November 10th, 2014 the 14th National Multimedia Courseware Competition, hosted by the Information Center of Educational Management of the Ministry of Education, came to a successful end. Teachers from HEU gained four first prizes, a record number of first prizes. Three multimedia coursewares of XUE Ruojun, from the College of Nuclear Science and Technology, XU Guoyu, from the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and LIU Yang, from the College of Shipbuilding Engineering respectively obtained first prizes in the final of the Engineering Group. In the Micro Class Group, SHI Ling, from College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering won the first prize, as well as the Most Popular Award. HEU gained the Best Organization Award.

The annual National Multimedia Courseware Competition, with a record number of participants, is the largest, best quality, most comprehensive multimedia courseware contest. This year there were 2817 submissions in total across China. After the preliminary examination, reexamination and the final round, 154 works gained first prizes, 324 second prizes and 501 third prizes.
